- What is a cookie and how does the Key Light Center use them?
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes a unique identifier that is sent to your computer, tablet or mobile phone (all referred to here as a “device”) web browser from a website’s computer and is stored on your device’s hard drive. Each website can send its own cookie to your web browser if your browser’s preferences allow it. Many websites do this whenever a user visits their website in order to track online traffic flows. Similar technologies are also often used within emails to understand whether the email has been read or if any links have been clicked.
During the course of any visit to the Key Light Center website, the pages you see, along with a cookie, are downloaded to your device. Many websites do this because cookies enable website publishers to do useful things like finding out whether the device (and probably its user) has visited the website before. This is done on a repeat visit by checking to see, and finding, the cookie left there on the last visit. This makes it faster to load the page on a repeat visit.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our site.
- Changes To This Privacy and Cookie Policy
This Privacy and Cookie Policy is effective as of 25/05/2021.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy and Cookie Policy at any time. You should check this Privacy and Cookie Policy periodically. Your continued use of the service after we post any modifications to the Privacy and Cookie Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy and Cookie Policy.
If we make any material changes to this Privacy and Cookie Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
